German KOCKS stretch reducing mill

During rolling,the reduction of the outside diameter takes place with a simultaneous wallthickness variation: the change of the wall thickness depends on thelongitudinal tension acting on the tube during reduction.

Tube diameter,wall thickness and length are measured at the outlet of the SRB both for SRBprocess control and for final tube tolerance checking.

Max. tube lengthat the outlet of the SRB is approx. 88 m.

The SRB recommended solution consists of 24stands, 3-roll type and rolls the mother tubes into the finishing sizes.
